Test-Prep Classes
We have developed our own method of analyzing each student's strengths and weaknesses. We use our own ACT-prep book and SAT-prep book that covers every aspect of the test. We work on content knowledge and test-taking skills. We follow up with educational tools, PowerPoint slides, and additional handouts. Students are never bored as each one learns on his or her own level.
All classes are held at our office location:
1517 Nicholasville Road, Suite 404
Lexington, KY 40503

Our Test-Prep Class Method
Our test-prep classes are a great way for students to learn the necessary content, tips, hints, and crucial strategies to succeed in upcoming ACT and SAT tests. Rather than taking a test during class, we will have the students come to class with a practice exam already completed. That way, we can spend more class time working on improving and mastering skills. During our classes, students will receive an in-depth analysis of their current testing skills with recommendations about what to work on in the future.
Our maximum class size is 15 students, but most classes have between 8-12. This ensures that each student receives the individual attention they need while still being motivated by their peers around them.
A Previous Class Results
Here are the results from a previous 8-week ACT course! Out of the 19 students in the course, these are the 10 students who completed all assigned homework and practice tests. The other 9 students had similar success but were not included due to the lack of a composite score from incomplete homework assignments.
ACT vs SAT
Our test-prep instructors are extensively trained in both the ACT and SAT formats, content, and testing strategy. We offer group classes and individual tutoring sessions for both the ACT and the SAT. Both exams are widely accepted by colleges and universities, so the decision on whether to take the ACT or the SAT is fully dependent on the student’s preferences.
With many recent changes on both exams, we highly recommend students compare the two testing formats to see which test better suits their strengths. For example, on the ACT, the Math portion is worth 33% of a student's overall score; however, on the SAT, the Math portion is worth 50% of a student's overall score. Some students prefer the longer time-per-question allotted on the SAT while others prefer the shorter question lengths on the ACT. Check out our helpful links pages for both the ACT and SAT to view practice tests for both exams.
